Church without Frontiers

"The Church without frontiers spread throughout the world a culture of acceptance and solidarity, in which no one is seen as useless, out of place or disposable." Pope Francis, Message for World Day of Migrants & Refugees, 2015. When allowing or not allowing people to cross the frontiers into our countries, or to enter our cultures, communities, or personal lives, do we effectively judge some people to be useless, out of place or disposable?

People are not things to be used. Everyone has a place in the human family that cannot be filled by anyone else.

Pope Francis’ Message for the World Day of Migrants & Refugees 2015 is titled Church Without Frontiers, Mother to All. It challenges us to act on these beliefs.
