We thank you God for the gifts of memory, understanding and will.
May the memory of the righteous ones who have trod this path before us encourage us to act for the justice of your Reign.
May the contemplation of people and places desecrated by sin bring us to understanding.
May the understanding of our entanglement in sin awaken our desire for change.
May our deep desire for change be met with the will to act for transformation.
May we pilgrims on earth do your will here and now.
