Bishop Decries Sunday Ballot in Malaysia

Bishop Paul Tan of the Melaka Johore Diocese in Malaysia has spoken out against the scheduling of the national election on a Sunday. As well as showing disrespect for Christians’ right to worship, it will be difficult for a number of Catholic priests to return to their hometowns to vote in the the 5 May ballot.
